Rebottled IBC Totes

A rebottled IBC tote has a brand-new HDPE inner bottle installed inside an inspected steel cage and pallet. You get a food-grade, clean interior at 25-35% less than a fully new unit. New gaskets, valve assemblies, and dust caps are included.

What Does "Rebottled" Mean?

When an IBC tote is rebottled, the existing inner HDPE bottle is removed and replaced with a brand-new one. The steel cage and pallet base are thoroughly inspected and cleaned — units with structural damage are rejected. The result is a container with a pristine food-grade interior inside a structurally sound cage.

This makes rebottled totes ideal when you need a clean interior surface (food, beverage, cosmetics) but the exterior cosmetics of the cage are less critical. Learn more in our What Is a Rebottled IBC Tote? guide.

When to Choose Rebottled

  • Food-grade on a budget — new HDPE bottle is FDA compliant at a lower price point
  • Non-food chemical storage — clean interior for chemical compatibility
  • Water storage and transport — pristine bottle without paying for a new cage
  • High-turnover operations — cost-effective for containers used and returned frequently

Cost Savings

Rebottled IBC totes typically cost 25-35% less than fully new units while delivering the same food-grade interior. For operations buying in volume, the savings add up quickly. See our bulk pricing page for volume tier details.
