Bulk IBC Tote Pricing
The more IBC totes you buy, the less you pay per unit. Our pricing has two layers of savings: volume tiers (per-order quantity discounts) and customer tiers (account-level discounts based on your order history).
Volume Pricing — New 275 Gallon IBC Tote
| Quantity | Price Per Unit | Total Cost | Savings vs. Single |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1-4 | $325 | $325 - $1,300 | — |
| 5-10 | $300 | $1,500 - $3,000 | $25/unit (8%) |
| 11-20 | $275 | $3,025 - $5,500 | $50/unit (15%) |
| 21+ | $250 | $5,250+ | $75/unit (23%) |
Volume Pricing — Rebottled 275 Gallon IBC Tote
| Quantity | Price Per Unit | Total Cost | Savings vs. Single |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1-4 | $225 | $225 - $900 | — |
| 5-10 | $210 | $1,050 - $2,100 | $15/unit (7%) |
| 11-20 | $195 | $2,145 - $3,900 | $30/unit (13%) |
| 21+ | $180 | $3,780+ | $45/unit (20%) |
Shipping Thresholds
How you ship affects your total cost. Larger shipments have lower per-unit freight costs:
| Quantity | Shipping Mode | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1-20 units | LTL (Less Than Truckload) | Shared carrier, per-pallet pricing |
| 21-60 units | FTL (Full Truckload) | 15 pallet positions, much lower per-unit freight |
| 60+ units | Multi-Truck | Multiple FTL shipments, best per-unit rate |
The jump from LTL to FTL at 21 units often produces the biggest per-unit freight savings. If you are ordering close to the threshold, ordering a few more units to fill a truck can actually reduce your total landed cost. See our LTL vs. FTL guide for details.
Customer Tier Discounts
On top of volume pricing, your account tier provides an additional percentage discount on all orders:
| Tier | Discount | Qualification |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 0% | All new accounts |
| Preferred | 3% | 5+ orders |
| Wholesale | 7% | 20+ orders |
| Enterprise | 12% | 100+ orders |
Tier discounts stack with volume pricing. An enterprise customer ordering 21+ new IBC totes pays $250/unit minus 12%, resulting in $220/unit.
Example: 40-Unit New IBC Tote Order (FTL)
- Product price: 40 × $250 = $10,000
- Wholesale tier discount (7%): -$700
- Subtotal: $9,300
- FTL freight (estimate): ~$2,400
- Landed cost per unit: ~$293
Compare this to buying 4 units at a time via LTL: $325/unit + ~$150 freight/unit = $475/unit. Buying in volume saves over $180 per tote.
